In spring of 1952, a stranger from the north walked up the gravel path. Then, finally, at the bend in the road, he saw four stone walls protected by two oak trees.
He had reached his destination!
There, he found lots mastic trees and brooms, two wells which had almost run dry, no water and no electricity. The stranger put down his suitcase, rolled up his sleeves and got to work…
And that’s how Domaine de la Bergerie came into being.
Over the years, the site has been tirelessly improved, yet all the while, the creator’s soul and his choice in favour of a traditional campsite and caravan park nestled in a hub of nature has remained untouched.
“ Fantastic place to relax and feel in contact with nature: the mountains; the parfumes of the "herbes de provence"; the birds and of course Les Baous. We can really recommend this camping! (See more...) ”
